On June 30th, the Yemeni American Merchants Association held a press conference right after the Supreme Court partially restored Trump’s executive order. YAMA was joined by Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez, Public Advocate Tish James, and Councilman Jumaane Williams as well the Arab American Anti-Discrimination Committee, CAIR NY, DRUM, International Refugee Assistance Project, Amnesty International USA, and many other interfaith and social justice organizations.
