Our goal is to find innovative ways to address issues and concerns of Yemeni American merchants and their families. With access to the right resources like, small business management issues such as consumer complaints, inspections, fines and violations, as well as applying, renewing, or updating cigarette retail dealer license. In addition to small business issues, we also provide assistance with referrals for, legal advice for immigration, health insurance, housing, and other services. These services will empower merchants and their families to fulfill their potential.

At Yemeni American Merchants Association, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing issues that impact the Yemeni community such as, the Muslim Ban 1,2, and 3. We have held press conferences, education forums, legal clinics, and filed 2 law suits on behalf of the Yemeni American community.

With Yemeni merchants always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with challenges they face. We address challenges such as, immigration, consumer affairs, safety and security, and growing trends that impact Yemeni merchants and their families through educational seminars and workshops. We also provide one-on-one informational sessions to help resolve individual issues and concerns. YAMA is dedicated to direct outreach to Yemeni merchants across the 5 boroughs by organizing meet/greet sessions in central locations to learn about YAMA and register their concerns.

Our Immigration Programs works to assist all immigrants (individuals on the path to citizenship) and non-immigrants (individuals not on the path to citizenship) across the United States apply for a variety of immigrant and non-immigrant statuses and benefits via application submission to USCIS. Our primary goal is family reunification and connecting families with their loved ones. We also work to aid clients dealing with severe hardship (life or death situations) with their delayed family and spouse petitions and educating the public on their immigration rights and benefits they are eligible for.
