The New York Chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (“CAIR-NY”) fights every day for civil rights, to promote justice, and to empower Muslim New Yorkers. On their 19th Anniversary Gala on February 24,2018, CAIR wanted to bring together Muslim New Yorkers and their allies to celebrate the leaders, organizations, and values that have always made New York great. CAIR NY honored the Yemeni American Merchants Association with the Action in Faith Award.
